Hello all and welcome to Thursday’s Tech Tip (albeit a little late this week). After our Android tip last week, this week we will look at a few short tips for iPhone users.
The first one is for those users of the iPhone 6s Plus that allows for easier one handed use:
1. Double-touch (not tap) on the home button and the entire screen will shift down so you can reach the top without changing your grip.
2. Next tip: When you wish to redial in the Phone app, press the green call button on the keypad screen to make the last dialed number appear.
3. And lastly for iOS 9 users: You have a long day ahead and no opportunity to recharge your phone, then enable low-power mode:
– Go to Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode and slide the toggle to on. This will disable push email, stop apps from refreshing in the background, and perform a few other mods that will extend your iPhone’s battery life.
